Boeing 787 Dreamliner first time in Europe

Boeing's much-delayed "leaner and greener" new passenger plane - the 787 Dreamliner - has touched down at the Farnborough Air Show on its maiden trip outside the US. The Boeing 787 marks its international test flight with a visit to the Airshow.

The 787 Dreamliner poked through the clouds outside London just before 9 am on Sunday. Instead of landing though, the all-new jet flew by and wagged its wings, the aviation equivalent of 'how do you do.'
